1 Ocean Park

Hong Kong Island

Open every day of the year from 10am until 6pm. Ocean Park is a fantastic outing for the whole family. The Park consists of 73 hectares offering amusements, botanical gardens, dolphins oceanarium and killer whales. There is also a seal show three times per day at designated times. For hungry tummies there are two restaurants and plenty of kiosks offering refreshments and eats.

There are live shows of ancient Chinese acrobatics, martial arts and Chinese crafts and collectibles. There is also a lovely bird paradise featuring a bird show. Getting across the park involves a lot of walking. Be warned of stairs and distances. Wheelchair access is provided to most places.

A word of warning - do not try to see the whole park in one. Four or five hours is usually plenty each visit. The idea is to get an annual pass and go back when you can especially during fun times throughout the year such as Chinese New Year, Halloween and Christmas.

2 Hong Kong Disneyland
Lantau Island

Enjoyed by children and adults alike Hong Kong Disney is excellent for the little ones. Unlike the Anaheim park Hong Kong Disneyland is smaller and much more accessible to rides and exhibits than the larger parks. In our opinion it is more suited for toddlers and young children.

Opening hours of the park can vary on a monthly basis, so it is best to check in with their website and plan your visit.

In keeping with the Disney theme, the park offers Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and Main Street USA. Fireworks are held on a nightly basis and throughout the year there are special celebrations in the park such as Halloween, Christmas and Chinese New Year.
